Leak Emergency?
Quick Steps to Minimize Damage Before We Arrive!

1. Turn Off The Water
Locate the nearest shutoff valve and turn it off. For major leaks, shut off the main water supply.

2. Turn Off Power
(If Needed)
If water is near electrical outlets or appliances, switch off power to the affected area for safety.

3. Contain the Water
Use towels, buckets, or a wet/dry vacuum to absorb and contain the leak.

4. Seal Small Leaks Temporarily
Apply plumber’s tape, pipe sealant, or even a rubber patch with clamps to slow the leak.

5. Open Faucets to Relieve Pressure
If safe to do so, turn on other faucets to help drain remaining water in the pipes.

6. Move or Cover Valuables & Furniture
Protect belongings from water damage by moving them to a dry area.
